Emma Woodhouse is quite satisfied with her single status. She believes that despite that small detail, she’s quite the accomplished matchmaker. She enjoys toying with the relationships of her peers, “helping” them find love. Her wealth, beauty and intelligence add to her confidence, but she has no idea that the tables are about to be turned on her. In this comedy of manners, Jane Austen tells the story of a lady who discovers love, despite her efforts of diverting said love elsewhere.
