Julian, Dick and Anne set out for Kirrin cottage to stay for a couple of weeks. But this time, the kids were beaten by Professor Hayling who is a colleague of their Uncle Quentin. There is not enough room in the cottage for everyone to stay, so the Five along with Tinker go to his lighthouse at the Demon’s rock up the coast.
